Jamaica to St. Lucia Plane Info?
If we took a flight from JFK to Jamaica and the switched planes in Jamaica to go to St. Lucia....anyone know if this would be a jet or a puddle jumper? HOneymoon or not, I do not get on planes with propellers.....

Lauren - I think the charter non-stops are Sunday to Sunday, which is part of our problem. FH does not want to leave on the Sunday after the wedding...he wants to leave Monday, which is the layover flight that I'm asking about.
Thrilled - I understand how you feel BUT just so you know if a plane is going to go down you have a better chance of making it in a prop plane than a jet. I know its a horrible thing to say but its true.
You can also call the airline and find out what type of aircraft it is. I am the worst flyer and do this all the time. Or, have you tried xanex to fly? works for me most of the time...just a suggestion.
we are going to Sandals St Lucia for our HM in May (monday). we are taking air jamaice (they are having a sale when we booked) it is considered a 'direct' flight. it stops in barbados for like 1/2 hour (i was told no switching planes) I don't remember the kind of plane, tho. check out airjamaica.com Im sure you can get specifics or call.
Exactly what cg511 said. We did the exact flight. You stop in Jamaica, let most of the plane out and then go onto St. Lucia which is about another 20 minutes away. It's kind of nice because the plane is empty and you get to spread out for a few minutes, but it's the same big plane!
