Re: JAmes patterson

I used to be his biggest fan but his books are so formulaic.

Is the Lake House the continuation of the Beach House?

Re: JAmes patterson

not sure stef, but the commercial looks as though it will be a mystery and it didnt say anything about the beach house..

maybe ill give it a go..

112903 no its just a commercial for the book..

I agree with Stef...I also am turned away by him (posted this on another thread)...he doesn't write his own books...he has a ghost writer follow his formula and then he adds his touches...

Re: JAmes patterson

I read the back of it and it doesn't seem to be the continuation of the Beach House, but similarly formulated. Vacation town mysteries are the new thing I guess!

Re: JAmes patterson

I loved the Beach House. The Lake House was on sale at Costco so I bought it today - I'll read it on my vacation in 2 wks and come back with a review on it

(it doesn't look like it's a continuation of the beach house)
