OMG I can't believe this.....and I agree with those who said this- It is the parents fault.

I know not everything is the parents fault but in this case they seem to be allowing their daughters to act like irresponsible people who are supposed to be role models for many!!

but the weird thing is i am not suprised she is pregnant she is 16 and with a 19 year old who probably wasnt using protection and if he was she wasnt. NOT SMA RT because she is a baby. But i dont know if it is crazy because she is famous or just because she is 16. honestely i had sex for the first time at the age of 16 and if i got pregnant that would be a big unbelievable thing as well and my parents would kick my ***. so knowing that i could have been pregnant at that age makes me not as shocked to know that Jamie Lynn Spears is for some reason!!

People are having sex younger and younger so now they are having babies younger and younger

EXACTLY!!! its the babies that suffer bc of their actions. I truly hope though that she won't be like britney and at least be a better mother.

I won't praise her at all, she is on a nickelodeon show with tons of young fans looking up to her, and to make it ok for her is giving young girls the wrong impression. I do wish her baby the best and although she is in a difficult situation doesn't mean its right.

I also blame the parents like some of you said. Same thing happened with britney, they were young stars and just bc they were making all this money doesn't mean you let them go out and do whatever they want.

i dont know if its the parents fault. she is 16. a lot of 16 year olds have sex and i dont think it means she has bad parents. kids have sex and accidents happen. unfortunately a lot of teenage girls get pregnant. i just think its shocking that these kids actually keep these babies. how does a baby have a baby? that is the part i dont get. i dont think its right or wrong to have a baby or not - that is a personal decision and i dont judge anyone. it just is so weird to me that a teenager is a mother. i just cant comprehend that. i dont think teenage moms are bad moms - its just so weird for me to see someone so young being responsible for someone else's life when they arent capable of being responsible for their own. oh well. i hope everything works out for the childs sake.

when a girl gets pregnant its not necessarily the parents fault but looking at both of her daughters and on top of that alot of other things that have went on in the past, it seems like the parents are to blame to an extent...16 year olds do have sex, but it seems like this mother is so concerned with making her daughters famous and the money that it seems she forgets they are also children, but this is my take who knows how it really is, just the way it seems.
