i dont know if its the parents fault. she is 16. a lot of 16 year olds have sex and i dont think it means she has bad parents. kids have sex and accidents happen. unfortunately a lot of teenage girls get pregnant. i just think its shocking that these kids actually keep these babies. how does a baby have a baby? that is the part i dont get. i dont think its right or wrong to have a baby or not - that is a personal decision and i dont judge anyone. it just is so weird to me that a teenager is a mother. i just cant comprehend that. i dont think teenage moms are bad moms - its just so weird for me to see someone so young being responsible for someone else's life when they arent capable of being responsible for their own. oh well. i hope everything works out for the childs sake.

in a nut shell that is what i was trying to say above...lol i don't think the parents are to blame about her getting pregnant like i said i was 16 whe i first had sex. and my parents i feel are the best ever! but i do feel britneys and jamie lynn's parents have not been the best role models for their children and you learn by example...and britney wasnt the best and still isnt the best role model for her sister.

but i feel bad for the baby she will have i hope she cares for it properly and loves it with all her heart because well look at britneys kids those poor things. i just think it is going to happen where the nanny is watching the baby or her mom is watching the baby...and i wonder how much responsibily the boyfriend will take because at 16 and 19 a baby is ALOT of responsibility and liek you said nicole you cant even take care of yourself but you will take care of an infant. i dont think all teenage moms and dads are bad or horrible parents not at all but i cant comprehend having a child under the age of 21 haha. I couldnt even handle a child now if i had one

oh wow living with a 19 year old boy? ok yeah - my parents would never let me get away with that sh!t at 16 now that i can see that as bad parenting - yikes!

That is one messed up family.... what a shame!!!!

The sad part is, Lynne Spears was in the process of writing a book, On how she raised 2 famous children.

Now that is put on hold, who would take advice from her?

They can be famous but if they are not happy, and just trainwreck after trainwreck, money cant buy happiness.

Laura I agree with you. When you are a parent it is your responsibility to instill proper values in your children.

Yes teenage girls do get pregnant. I know several girls who have had children as a teenager and raisied their children on their own. But when your older daughter is a trainwreck you would think as a parent you would step up to the plate and be a little stricter with your younger daughter. Great she makes it home by curfew -- but do you have any idea what she is doing when she isn't home? Do you really let her live with her boyfriend? Those are the things that are the parents responsiblity.

I hope for this child's sake that she keeps her head on her shoulders and does not make the same mistakes her sister is infamous for.

As for Miley Cyrus she had her own pregnancy rumors out there a few weeks ago. I don't think she is as innocent as they make her out to be but that is another story.

all of this really makes me want to barf...

I know I couldn't have even gotten preg at 16 but this just makes me really really grateful that I'm 23, engaged, and no kids. I know people who have done it (not at 16, but at 19-20, 21) and their kids are great, but I'm just not ready for that responsibility yet....

I'm just blown away by how many celebs seem to be getting accidentally preg these days. I wonder if any of them use condoms/the pill or if they just think it will never happen to them..

As for Miley Cyrus she had her own pregnancy rumors out there a few weeks ago. I don't think she is as innocent as they make her out to be but that is another story.

From everything I've seen there was a rumor that SOMEONE in the industry involved in those types of shows was pregnant and that the rumors turned out to be about JLS not Miley.

I mean, I'm no expert, nor do I know any of those people, but I do feel bad for Miley if in fact she never had a pregnancy scare but got dragged into the media with the rumors b/c of JLS... you know?

I love Miley (I have a little sis who loves her) so I really hope she doesnt wind up like the rest of them. Im really hoping she'll continue to be a positive influence. Although she is dating that Jonas brother so who knows.
