Past January bride here!

I mailed my invites on 10/24
RSVP date was 12/5
Wedding was 1/15

I didn't have to chase down too many people and I didn't have to worry about my invites getting lost with the holiday mail.

Hope this helps!

Thank GOD i'm not doing my own favors. I met a wonderful woman at a bridal expo in Bedminster...she's making me cookies & stuffing the bags for me with homemade chocolate.

This may sound insane - but we have a basement that we use for storage & laundry. TONS of room... I know you don't know me from a hole in the wall - but really - it's not an issue if you want to put them there! We go down there on the weekends only really, to do laundry.

Re: JANUARY BRIDES.....??

I will probably do my programs myself if I do them at all (I have such high aspirations, but time keeps marching on!). I am also making my favors (painting wine glasses) and I haven't started them yet. FH just got laid off 2 weeks ago, so wedding planning got put aside to update the resume. This weekend is the 1st one we've had to ourselves in a long time, so I'm hoping to really get started on the favors.

We also have to:
- buy BM and GM gifts
- finalize a hotel for OOT guests (still haven't decided on one yet)
- meet with video guy (he's booked through the country club, we just haven't met with him yet)
- do a hair trial
- buy shoes, headpiece and veil
- I still need fittings, but my dress isn't in yet
- meeting with DJ in December
- FH still has to hand papers in to church (he was married before)
- see final florist samples

I'm sure there's more, but this is all I can think of.

Hey there - the place i'm getting my programs is the cheapest i've found! Their cheapest one is 70 bucks for 100 of them. I think it'll be easier than me trying to go crazy! I got in touch with the lady, asking her for more graphics because I didn't like any on the website & she got back to me maybe 15 minutes later with the PERFECT image!

That's a great site, thanks! I'm a Graphic Designer and when I got engaged I just assumed that I would be doing a lot myself, but my invitations come as part of my hall package and it really is easier to have it done for me. I did a friend's wedding invitations, response cards, envelopes and church program a feww years ago, so I think I still have the template somewhere.
