Jasmine gowns?---cont.!

Anyone know about the price ranges on Jasmine gowns? Couture or collection? I am having such a hard time finding a dress I really like and have been searching through magazines and think some of their things are nice but I don't want to even bother trying them on if they will cost too much. Thanks for your help!

Cont.---Show me your Jasmine dresses, please!

Re: Jasmine gowns?

I'm wearing a Jasmine Couture gown and I got it for $880. The list price was $1100 though. I think the dresses from the collection run from maybe $500 and up and the couture gowns maybe from around $1000 and up. That's a rough estimate. If you need any more info, let me know.

Re: Jasmine gowns?

The Jasmine Collection is really affordable. They range from $700-1000. If you like Jasmine and want to order a dress, you can contact Phyllis at Gowfind and she can order it for you at a discounted price. I got my Jasmine gown from her and couldn't be happier with the service or price!

My Jasmine Couture was around $1,000. I know if I would have shopped around I probally could have gotten it cheaper.

I am ordering my Spring 2006 Jasmine Couture gown from Phyllis and she is saving me $450. I would definitely recommend her for a Jasmine gown.

Well that is good news! Thanks everyone!

Now a question from those who ordered from GownFind....did you try on the dress you wanted somewhere? Or did you order from a picture or something? I would be so scared it wouldn't look good on me once I got it.

Re: Jasmine gowns?

i personally would never order a dress i didnt try on myself. i found a bunch of magazine clipings and pics from websites and when i saw the dress in person a tried it on, it was much different than i expected. if you haven't already, i would suggest going to a bridal shop and trying on all different dresses and then see what happens. i can suggest bridal suite of centereach and fantasias, both were great for trying on all different dresses and i believe both carry jasmine. when i went i told them i didnt want to spend more than $1000 on my dress and they helped me try on many dresses in that range. good luck~lacey

You might want to try Burton's in Melville too. I tried my dress on at The Wedding Center in Commack b/c they have a larger selection but I ordered it from Burton's b/c they were a bit cheaper.

Re: Jasmine gowns?

I ordered my from Adrienes - a 2be Bride which I love - but this was before I knew about Phillis at Gownfind. I did get my BM's dreses there and she saved me $. Lovely to work with, too.

Re: Jasmine gowns?

To answer your question, I tried on some Jasmine gowns at other bridal salons. Once I was sure I wanted to order the dress, I went to Phyllis at gownfind, she measured me and ordered it for me.

HTH!

Here are some pictures of me on my wedding day:

If you go to my community album you will see pictures of my first fitting and pictures of when I bought the dress.

The dress was originally a strapless dress. But the nice thing about Jasmine is that they will actually customize any changes you want to an existing dress (if that makes sense)

Here's my gown on the internet and me in it during fittings. It's the same as Michelle's, only she added the halter!

Scary picture but it shows of the details of the dress
