Jason Groupp Photography

You guys are great with recommendations. Thank you. I spoke with a bunch and had the nicest talk with Jason. Has anyone else used him yet? He seems great. Is $2,500 for 6 hours reasonable?

Re: Jason Groupp Photography

You're getting all digital photography and proofs + CD, right? No album, enlargements ==> I just checked my notes on Jason G and that's the package in the price range you quoted. And 6 hrs coverage?

We looked at packages with albums and film with jason, and found him to be a bit overpriced, but if you're planning on getting what's mentioned above, I think its ok... You may or may not find better...

Re: Jason Groupp Photography

He told me black and white, some color, mostly candids and some digital. I get the proofs and the CD.

Re: Jason Groupp Photography

I would double check about it just being 'some digital'. I met with him a month or so ago and he said he shot in all digital and on his price list the most expensive package was the only one with real film. I don't know if that matters or not but I would want to know that for sure.

Re: Jason Groupp Photography

Definitely. I will have to clarify that with him. I wrote down photos, 35 mm, some digital.

Re: Jason Groupp Photography

We haven't met in person. I did speak with him and we are going to work on a price I can live with. And it's not all digital. he said we can mix it up. He's the first photog to have a conversation with me, so that is impressive. The rest of them are saying stuff like, 'this price, that's it. take it or leave it.' But we'll see. We have to make an appt.
