SO FOR THOSE BRIDES ( INCLUDING MYSELF) THAT WERE INTERESTED IN BOOKING AJ INGOLIA ( SPELLING) FOR VIDEO.. IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE THAT HE WILL BE RE-LOCATING TO CALI BY NEXT YEAR, I CAME ACROSS JAY R CASTILLO IN THE OTHER BOARDS AND HIS WORK IS VERY SIMILAR!! LOOK INTO IT!

The rumors are true, i emailed AJ and he confirmed that he is not taking any bookings for 2013.

I'm gonna look into Castillo now...thanks

in that case, thank god for this board and me lurking the 2011 brides I found Jay R castillo and looks great.. Mythe also has the name style... let me know if you speak with either of these vendors I am very interested!!

If anyone gets prices from them let me know. Were probably getting Lighthouse for photo and when we were there we saw there video also. They were good but AJ videos just have something amazing about them. I heard he going to cali to try and get into shooting movies or something.

Lighthouse, duet,benchwork, thomaspaul, are the on the top of my list of vendors to see for pics

I'm going to see Fade to black tonight, then thomas paul next week. I also need to set up apts with Lawrence, Duet and Deja Vu.
I do believe they all do photo and video.....do i really need to go to a whole separate vendor for video?

well not really it depends on the style of video ur going for.. if you want the normal classic video then no.. if u want the cinemotography style ( AJ, JAy castillo) then yes most of the photgraphers u mentioned dont do this style, as far as I know..

IMO i dont want the LOOONNNGGG video that shows ppl dancing, eating etc. I like shorter version of the major highlights of the wedding.. with some voice over's like my vows, etc.

I must admit....i never saw a wedding video LOL. So i dont even know the difference between the 'regualr' and cinemotography.....can anyone help me out here?

Lighthouse does do cinematic and it is pretty good. Like I said previously it just doesn't have that extra something like AJs do.

Nope!!!!! I have limited time to do anything thanks to work, so when i get my mind to doing something, i just go and do it.

I got quotes from him....WOW....I usually say money is no option for my wedding, but I really think he is just too rich for my blood....

Edited to remove the prices, as per the videographers request.....
