I got quotes from him....WOW....I usually say money is no option for my wedding, but I really think he is just too rich for my blood....

- 10 hours of coverage or less (bride and groom prep to reception)

3 Cinematographers Package (Platinum)
$4,495.00 + tax
- High Definition Film- 40 minute cinematic highlights on main DVD plus one (1) DVD copy and two (2) blu ray copies- Bonus ~ 3 min Recap on a song of your choice- Three (3) Cinematographers
- 12 hours of coverage or less (bride and groom prep to reception)

I was also thinking j castillo was expensive but when I sat down and compared his rates to myther's rates, he came out cheaper, not to mention better

I got j castillo's gold package at $3,145.50 ($3,495 less 10% since I am an Liweddings subscriber). When I tried to build a package similar to this with myther, it came out to $4,250!

Myther's starting price of $1,800 includes 2 videographers, 10 hrs of coverage, raw footage on DVD. If I add to this 30 min cinematic highlights, it's an additional $2,000, and if I wanted to add cinematic highlights which is a bonus with j Castillo, it's an additional $450 ... All this comes out to $4,250!

JayR was offering the raw footage on external hard drive for $500 ($450 with the 10% discount) which I thought was better quality than raw footage on DVD. So with the raw footage my total would have come to only $3,595.50. I didn't get the raw footage since I thought the 30 minute film was plenty enough but he told me that if I ever change my mind I have a year to purchase the raw footage.

I guess I just like the fact that j Castillo has thought out packages instead of making me feel like I have to pay for every move he makes.

Totally makes sense...but now looking at combined photo/video people, that just might work for me. I have nothing against Castillos work, but i will not be using him for personal reasons.

Its insane how expense video is lol...and i wasnt even going to get one!
