Hello 2013 Brides! I was wondering if any of you were booked with JAYlim photography, previously of DUET. I am in love with his artistic photos and was hoping to get some reviews and hear of others who booked because I know he is new and I am hesitant. Thank you all!!

BEAUTIFUL work. We had a slight language barrier with the woman we met with, so it was hard to negotiate to a price point we wanted. Ended up being out of our price range after we got them down quite a bit, and we would have gotten the 2nd photog bc Jay was booked that day.

While I didn't book with him, my friend booked him when he was with Duet and her pictures are STUNNING! She loved working with him and is thrilled with her pictures. I checked out Duet because of him, but he left by that point. I know, not much info, but HTH!

Hey! I booked with him last summer for our upcoming November wedding. I am extremely happy with his team and I'm looking forward to working with him soon for our engagement shoot. We negotiated with them and we agreed on a great deal. He's probably my favorite vendor out of all the vendors we had to book. Hes so talented and I love the work he does. I personally think that your photography and videography is the most important because it captures all your memories. And we went with him for his cinematography as well. My eyes welled up just watching his sample videos and my fiance and I knew right away that he was it. Good luck and if you need any help or info on them, message me!

You should go with your gut feeling. We are in a similar situation. Our photographer (Kolen Photography) does not exist on LI Weddings which made me wonder but we lOVED his work and his passion etc. Go with your choice!

We're booked with Jay Lim and we're very happy so far. His pictures are gorgeous and we found his prices to be very reasonable. We're also using him for video. Such a wonderful and talented guy! Feel free to FM me for any other info.
