Jean party...

I can't wait...I am hosting a jean party next week at my house......Similar to like having a pampered chef, candle, bag party,,,,except their designer jeans....anyone ever host or go to one???
Instead of paying like almost 200.00 for Citizens or Sevens....they are much, much cheaper...and they fit pretty ...I can def. use new jeans for the winter ....LOL

They are fab. It's like half price and if you host you can sometimes get a freebie. Be sure they bring the right sizes though (I think you can give them a a size range). I am so tall that there is rarely anything that is in my size.

I was just going to tell you my friend Karen went to one and she said it was great! Guess you already knew that! I told her I'd like to have one and then never followed up on it. Could you FM me on how you booked the party please? Thanks!

designer jeans are like crack for me.... so many of my friends do not understand how great they fit!!! FH use to get so mad about me getting them until I bought him a pair and he hasn't said anything since...

Re: Jean party...

aren't they though??lol lol.......I had one like a year ago and it was awesome girls were buying like 2 pairs each in different styles...I have to be sure that he brings more of the bigger sizes...i can't quite squeeze into 27, 28, 29 or 30's for that matter....how depressing

I am 5'11+ a bit and jeans/pants (everything) are so hard to find [even most sevens end up being short]. Least the shorter girls can get things tailored - humm - maybe i can sew on extensions -hihi

Re: Jean party...

just as a warning, I've been to jean parties before and the jeans are FAKE FAKE FAKE! (same deal as 'purse parties') it's generally the kind of stuff you'd get in chinatown or on the street. they have the same logos and stuff but the quality isnt there and the fit is sometimes off. some people care, others dont.

they are definitely cheaper than buying the real deal in the mall, but just know that they aren't authentic. (I wore authentic citizens to the jeans party and compared them and the material and stiching was way off). they arent always cheap either. the ones at the jeans party we went to were $70-80 a pair, which was crazy to me. If they were $20 I might have been tempted...

a good place to get authentic cheap(er) designer jeans is century 21 or nordstrom rack at the source. (about 50-60% off retail)

Edit: I was kind of pissed when I went because the host lied and said they were real, but she wasn't doing it to trick us -- she honestly didn't know. the 'dealer' lied to her

a friend of mine just had one and she said it was crazy, the girl was like really secretive about her jeans, and all the jeans still had like designer tags on them!
