Jeep Liberty, Nissan Xterra or Kia Sorrento?

Original post by frosty

Looking for feedback on any of these cars.

FH has narrowed down his choice to those three. We still need to do some test drives, but I would love some feedback from anyone who owns these vehicles.

Thanks.

I have a Jeep too and absolutely LOVE it. No problems. All SUVS have a potential for a tipping hazard, so that isn't a great excuse for any truck.... gas is expensive all around.... so again no excuse.... the Liberty is just a great priced, great truck!

Thanks for the input everyone!

FH wants the Xterra, I prefer the Jeep. We are going to take test drives this weekend and go from there.

I highly recommend Amity Nissan. I dealt with Kevin.

We just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe, but it was between the Santa Fe and the Xterra. The Xterra was my preference. We test-drove it and we liked the way it drove. It defintely rides like a truck, but it has a lot of power and it has a good traction control system, so you don't have to worry about tipping over. We bought the Santa Fe because we wanted a more car-like ride, than the truck-like feeling you get from the Xterra.

ETS: We own a Kia Sephia and you defintely get want you pay for. My in-laws just traded in their Kia Optima, because they were having a ton of trouble after just 2 years of owning the car. The problem with Kia's is they have no retention value. They got very little money for it compared to what they paid.

I've had my Jeep Liberty for 4 years and I love it. I test drove a bunch of SUVs and felt most comfortable in this car especially with blind spots. As far as gas mileage, most if not all SUVs are inefficient. Good luck with the search.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited edition and I love it! Heated seats in the winter baby and great in the snow! All time 4 wheel drive is great! It costs me about 45.00 to fill my tank up
