hi ladies.
I posted on the NWR board also:

Hi Ladies
I am back from having the cryosurgery done.
The procedure wasn't as bad as I thought and wasn't as bad as the colposcopy.
I am relieved its been done.
I have to go back for a check up in 3 weeks, and a pap smear in 3 months. I'll dig up this post again in 3 months and let everyone know if I have a normal pap or not. (I pray I do)!

I'm glad everything went ok! Now that you're through it I can ask you something about it.. did u get 'burned' at all!!! One time the woman left the wand whatever it was on a spot too long and I was like OOWWW!!! Thank god it only happened once! She was so nice though, and she's like 'there's quite a nice snowball forming in there!'.. the worst part is you're laying there in the air with two people watching you for what seems like FOREVER! :) Well I'm glad it's over... and glad it went ok! :)

i didn't get burned but it was very cold & i felt crampy, like a period.
she did 2 areas, one minute each.
a nurse was there with a stopwatch to count the minute.
my gyn even remarked how long a minute can be!
my FH was holding my hand & was trying to make me laugh

Jenn, I'm glad you're okay. A very close friend of mine had the same procedure, and she too, was very nervous about it. I will keep my fingers crossed that you have a normal pap in 3 months.
Keep positive thoughts...I believe that helps with your body's well being.
