I spoke to a lovely make up artist today. I got the info from one of you girls via craigs list. She is located at the Cactus Salon and Day Spa

I am sure she is amazing

That being said, I also need hair done and it is imperative that I get it done all at the same place.

Since I have a noon wedding we aretaking pics before the wedding and I need my girls done EARLY, like 10:15a.m.

I spoke to a woman from the salon who was very vague and couldn't quote me a price for opening early. She said that she could get more infor 8 weeks before the day.

Am I being cranky when I say that is way too late in the game for me?

She couldn't tell me if it was a flat fee or per person.

I was very disappointed! Price matters because I am paying for 75% of it.

I emailed her and she sent me the prices- I'll check and see if I have it- if I remember correctly it was $125 for regular and $150 for airbrush, $25 travel fee- but she waives that if you have more than one person.

A bridal trial at the store- $75 and for airbrushing is $100.
Each additional person is $85 and $105 for airbrushing.
The only fee that is applied is for parking (if needed) and a $25 travel fee. The travel fee is waived with parties of two or more.

I got all of the prices.........but I needed an early start for hair AND make up. It was the additional fees they couldn't get straight or be sure of.

eta- I wouldnt hire anyone unless they gave you all the prices & you are not being bridezilla if you dont want to wait to get the prices- can you talk to a manager?

wait at the same place? i'm having a makeup person probably just come to my hair salon to save time - do my sister's makeup while my hair is being done, then switch etc.

also having a noon wedding. they should be able to tell you prices now!
