Re: JennRenee's log

Ooooooooh french fries... I have banned all fast food from my diet until further notice because I can't go there and have 'just a salad'.

Re: JennRenee's log

Today is the 8 year anniversary of the day Pat and I met, and we always go back to 'the scene of the crime' for dinner, and we just got home. That being said, I take the 5th on reporting what I had for dinner. Let's just say it included lots of cheese and a deep fryer.
Oh well... tomorrow's a new day...

Re: JennRenee's log

Well, here I am on day 2 of my food log, and I'm gearing up for breakfast.
I will be dining on:
1 lowfat waffle with syrup
and crystal light lemonade

Shamma, Pat and I met at the bar at Okey Dokey's and always go back there for dinner (we even got engaged there! ). We had lots of fried appetizers and then I had a grilled chicken sandwich (I should have had a burger... the damage was already done!). Everything was greasy and delicious!

Re: JennRenee's log

JennR, you have such well planned out meals. I eat as I go, plan as I eat. I love how you work snacks in. Where are your fruits and your water?? Do you w/o???

shamma Posted:

Re: JennRenee's log

Do you have any particular goals in mind that you want to accomplish??

JennRenee Posted:

Re: JennRenee's log

Hi Shamma, I find that when I eat as I go I eat badly. I plan my meals out the night before whenever I can. As for fruits and water, I always have a 24 ounce sport bottle with me when I'm not working, and am constantly sipping and refilling. I can't drink a lot when I am working because my bathroom breaks are extremely limited (can't leave my kids alone and run for the potty!). Fruits I slack on because I don't really care for them. I like strawberries, peaches, and watermelon, but they aren't in season, so they're only so-so, and not worth it to me.

My goals are to fit back into my clothes and raise my energy level. I don't own a scale, and don't care too. Weight is just a number. How I look and feel are much more important to me.

Re: JennRenee's log

Jenn I agree with the not weighing, but john bought a scale last month, and I actually went on it ... I Really dont like counting pounds but im just doing it this time because this is going to be a major change for me and i wanna be able to wear my number proud ! LOL...

PS- how do you eat just a string cheese for breakfast !! I am so hungry inthe morning, I can have 2 breakfasts !

Re: JennRenee's log

I agree JennRenee...the weight is not too much of an issue. My goal is also to fit back into my pants before I was married. I just feel oh so horrible

My biggest problem is portion control. Im finding now if I bring heathy snacks...apples, carrot sticks, Im better during the days.

Re: JennRenee's log

Anna, I am usually eating my string cheese as I RUN out the door! Maybe if I didn't log on to LIW every morning I'd have time for a 'real' breakfast! Luckily, I have an early lunch (11:30), so I don't have time to get very hungry.

Diane, I know how you feel because I feel the SAME way! I'd hate to ever run into Jay because the last time I saw him (in high school! ) I was a skinny little twig. I'd hate for anyone who knew me then to see me now because I am the epitome of 'letting yourself go'. .
