Well, I looked there and thought the room was very nice, unfortunately when I told people I looked there I got bad feedback on it. My cousin found glass in his food, and my other cousin said that she got mixed up with what party she was with because people were walking around all over from both parties. However, i have heard good things about it also.
I just attended a wedding there two weeks ago. I thought the place was very pretty and the food was very good too. The only thing that I didn't like was that the food during cocktail hour was not hot, just warm, if that. I'm sure that's probably a problem at other places too, just thought I'd mention it. Other than that, I thought the room sizes were very spacious and everything seemed to go smoothly.
it looks like a beautiful place--the style that i am looking for--but now i am starting to hear bad things about it-so i don't even know if i should waste my time looking at it---my cousin attended a wedding there and she said they ran out of food during cocktail hour---her experience turned me away from it for some time but then i spoke to a few jericho brides to be and they seem to be happy w/the way things are going......but i guess i will take my cousin and your advice-that glass thing and the food not being warm doesn't sound too good to me...and not look there--thanks for your advice!!:)
I am booked there for this August. I have only heard rave reviews from people (thank gooodness) but I am sure every place has there problems time and agan. The good things I have heard are that the food is excellent and there is tons of it. When I went there I met with Mike Closs and he was a sweetheart. If you have interest the best advice I can give is go there and meet with them and voice your concerns, I am sure they will be receptive. Good luck:-)
I went to go look at it and thought the place was very nice. However, I thought the person that we met with (I can't remember his name-he was a young guy) was pushy and my FH and I were really turned off. We also had to guarantee 160 people to get the nice room. They gave us a price of $115 and went down to $96 for a Sunday night in April. We ended up booking Floral Terrace which is one wedding at a time for the same price for a Sunday night in May for a 6 hour affair. You should definitely check out Floral Terrace. Good Luck!!
I booked Jericho Terrace for October. I will be in the Dome Room. The food is really good and the guy that I am dealing with (Michael Closs) is very nice. So far I've had no problems.
I'm booked there for June 9th. I have heard repeatedly that the food is incredible and there is tons of it. When we went to finalize our menu and were having a hard time choosing, our banquet manager threw in many extras.
I hope my response that the food wasn't very warm didn't steer you away from taking a look at the place. I only mentioned it so that if you decided to book there, you could ask them to make the food hotter. Other than that detail, I really think the place is beautiful and it's worth taking a look at. I had looked at many places before I booked and Jericho Terrace was one of the possibilities. I bet if you search on this site, you can find a complaint about a lot of places. So I wouldn't worry too much, I have heard lots of good things about JT also.
