I'm having 221 in the DOME room in about 3 weeks, I'm also having everything from start to finish, even a wine tasting at every table during reception.
So i'm probably paying a different amount but if your aiming for december you will do really well on price!! The service has been impeccable since we booked and we celebrated new years at JT and it was great!

Yeah it's coming we just finalized our menu and all the little extras.... I'm sure everything will be perfect!
One thing I do recommend to all upcoming brides is to request Linda as your Maitre'd , She is WONDERFUL! AND SHE KEEPS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING THAT IS IMPORTANT & JUST THE LITTLE THINGS!!!!

i went to a wedding that was in the dome room a little over a month ago and it was gorgeous

if you have your heart set on the dome room, you can try to negotiate for a lower minimum. just tell them i'll definitely book if you can give me the dome room with this minimum. the first time i went they told me the min for saturday afternoon in april was 175. the second time i went, they told me 150. so, anything is possible. doesn't hurt to ask.

Jericho terrace offered july 3rd to us because it was the cheapest day to get married but were getitng married july 08 but it falls on a thursday we are paying 75 per person plus tax and grat.
Hope that helps even though i think ur july 3 will fall on a friday which may be more expensive. HTH

well december is a reallllllly expensive time to get married...we are paying a flat rate for the penthouse for october 18th which is a saturday., they wouldn't budge on the price at all...it was 'well you can have the 200 minimum at $115 pp or you can guarantee less but it will be more pp...either way it comes to $23,000..but you can expect to pay up to $150 pp for december because you will be competing with large corporate parties as well plus alot of people want to have holiday weddings so they know they can jack up the prices and people will still book at top dollar. January is actually better than december...ALOT better. JT accidentally faxed over somebody elses price quote contract and they were charging these people $69 or $75 pp for the oak room when they were charging me $115. that made me want to rethink my whole wedding when i saw that...but I'm happy with my plans and I'm not gonna change it.

interesting - i was worried about that, i want the first weekend of december only, i dont want to get to close to xmas or the last weekend of november depending if they will have holiday decor up..... i'll have to see what happens when we check it out! we are going to try and go the cheapest route possible lol lol

well girls, we are going there this weekend to check it out......as of now we are meeting with vinny but he didn't seem that nice over the phone. anyone deal with him? or is there anyone else that is really nice that i can try meeting with instead? we're going to see the ceremony room set up so i'll try and get some pics :)
wish us luck - im so nervous i won't be able to sleep all week

Vinny is my BM. He is awesome and very nice. You might have gotten him on a bad day- or it might just be his voice. He has a brooklyn style accent is sounds like (i could be wrong iwth what accent) but his voice is intimidating at times. But he is very nice to work with. FH loved him haha But thats because of his accent.
