Jericho Terrace and Leonards

Jericho Terrace and Leonards

Ok I am officially sure that I am trying to drive myself insane!! I can't even remember how many RH's I've been to at this point! Last nite I went to go see Jericho Terrace and Leonards...both are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! At first I didn't consider either because I had wanted to find a place by the water, but I wasn't getting that 'feeling' at any except Surf Club, and I'm not too happy with the menu they are offering me there. So I need to hear your girls opinions on Leonards and Jericho Terrace, I am really, really torn!!

Leonards - I absoluvely LOVE the reception room, I only got to peek at tha cocktail room because there was a wedding going on but from what I see it was really pretty. The Lobbys are pretty too, some parts are a little over-done (just my opinion!) but its still pretty. Also, FH and I had our prom there about a year after we started going out on June 4th, and that date is available..and March 4th is our anniversary so I like the whole idea of that...One thing I didn't like was the BM, he just wasn't very personable at all, he wasn't mean or rude or anything, just spoke with a very thick accent and just got straight to the point with everything. For girls who booked, who is your BM?? oOo I also have a food tasting with them this Saturday.

Jericho Terrace - BREATH TAKING and great for pictures pretty much everywhere you turn, and pictures are a big deal for me. Their Lobby and outside area are BEAUTIFUL!! However, the room that I'm going to be in 'The Oak Room' I'm really not thrilled with at all. I know JT has a lot nicer rooms that are more my 'feel'. The BM manager, was the easier person I've ever talked to - he was so down to earth, funny and helpful!!! I just emailed him to see if another room was available to me and now I'm waiting on his answer...

So come on girls - give me the good the bad and the ugly!!!! I am the most indecisive person EVER and my FH is no help at all..he thinks they're all nice. I know he wants me to be happy so he's trying not to influence me with his opinion///

i'm getting married at JT, so i may be a little biased. I'll try not to be because i've never seen leonards. the oak room is the smallest out of all the room JT has to offer. actually, the first time we went there to visit, that was the first room they showed us too. but when they saw we weren't happy with it, they showed us all the rest of the rooms. definitely go again and see all the different rooms they have to offer. each room has a different minumum though.

I looked at both...Leonards I didn't like- I felt the same way as you about the decor. The BM (I think he was different then who you met with b/c the one I met with didnt have a thick accent) was SO RUDE!! I felt they included the bare minimum- everything else was extras...which means extra $$

I LOVE JT, everything about it!! They include SO much in their packages and the price is great. I love the fish, such a nice touch and its different too! Then again, I'm booked at JT so Im biased as well

Thanks so much!! I really appreciate everyones opinions! I am finding that it seems 1/2 the people like Leonards and the other half like JT. Ahh decisions, decisions!!! Thanks again!

Re: Jericho Terrace and Leonards

we had our wedding at Jericho Terrace.. it was by far the most amazing experience of my life and i don't have enough fantastic things to say about them. EVERYTHING about it...the decor, the staff, the whole ambience, and OOOOOOOH THE FOOOOD!!! the place is just wonderful. You are truly treated like royalty. In all honesty our guests still talk & rave about our wedding....and it was over a year ago. Leonard's is beautiful, but i can't speak from experience. I will say that i had an appt. with leonards, but after visiting JT i cancelled because i knew JT was it for me And it was worth every single penny we paid... u can take a peak at my review if u'd like to read more, see more, etc. but omg - AMAZING. they get my vote Best of luck to you! whatever you choose, your day will be amazing! if u have any other questions feel free to throw me some FM

FSIL had it at Surf Club and it was amazing--- have you tasted their food? their pricing is a little higher than JT & leonards tho-- but I thought it was worth it-- the site was soo pretty & romantic

I am of course going to be a biased and go for JT!!! I have never been to Leonards or even seen pics. I only visited two other RH and knew JT was for me. The ambience is beautiful, the cocktail room is great and my room-the penthouse- is awesome!! Defintely ask to see other rooms. Maybe they only showed you the Oak Room because of your mimnimum? I would still go back and ask-they are really nice there. I love the outside garden areas I never really realized what they had! Go back there a few times and you will be able to decide if its for you. I think no matter where you go you wil know which place is for you. Don't think just because I love it and someone else doesn't then that is how you will make your desicion. Good Luck and congrats!

Re: Jericho Terrace and Leonards

we are booked at JT - we werent to crazy about the decor/style of JT but we both loved the dome room for our reception room, we felt the skylight room was nice for a ceremony and we liked the garden terrace room for CH...the rest of the place we could do without - in my opinion its a little gawty (spelling?) but thats b/c FH and I both like more of a plain feel - more wood, no marbe floors, less busy, i feel like JT is very ornate BUT we loved the reception room, we liked the menu and FSIL had an amazing wedding there so we didnt let the lobby decor bother us too much because to be honest we arent having our reception in the lobby the parts that i dont like about the place arent going to be the focus of our wedding anyways....i have never been to Leonards so i dont know what its like....taste the food at both, figure out what rooms you would def have at each and see where you think your wedding would fit better.....if you still cant decide i would go with the place that offers more for your money
