our reception will be in the Penthouse room.... we have to guarantee 200. Like so many others, we were not shown the Dome. Later I asked about it, and Mike told me that it would be too small for our party..Our ceremony is in the skylight room! I agree with the other ladies, they are very accomadating. Maybe they can lower the min.
That doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure the maximum capacity in the Dome Room is 240...
The Dome room can go up to 264 people, but after 240 they switch it to oval tables so that way they can fit 2 more of 12 if need be. I booked in Jan '04 and I guaranteed 200 for a friday night in november. I think they try to show the dome room first because most people ooh and ahh and they think that that will make people book it they definitely are accomadating, and it doesnt hurt to ask! I do however think that a 250 minimum is very high IMO, especially since it only fits 264 MAX

It's just upsetting that it seems as though they tell people different minimum guarantee #'s for the same day of the week and time. When I first went I was told that I needed a min of 200 for the skylight room. And he was doing a favor by giving a lower minimum. That's why I switched from Chad to Mike.

I totally agree! It's very discouraging to find this out, thank goodness for these boards! I am definitely going to call my BM and see if the Dome room is still available and if I could switch and keep my 150 min. Am I the only one that has Rob for a BM?

I am in the Dome Room on a Friday night in July and my min is 180. You should def. see if it's still available.

How did you get your minimum lowered to 150 in the dome room? chad told us we needed to guarantee 200 for a friday night in july of '07 so that's what we signed our contract on.
Chad is a moron is all I HAVE to say!!!
I had to get rid of him..... he is the worst!!!!
I think Chad is in it for the money... I am sure he gets something for bookings.

This is way too high... especially for a February wedding....... and for the Penthouse room at that!!!!!

The Dome room should be the ONLY room with a high min.
The Penthouse room is larger than the Dome Room so it makes sense for it to have a higher minimum...these minimums are similar to minimums at other RH...at Fox Hollow, I needed a minimum of 225....JT is very willing to work with their clients, so they would definitely work with you and lower the minimum
To me I think the DOme room is the lagest followed by the Penthouse, Skylight....
