Ok ladies...my fh and I are about to make the decision and we really like JT and their package with no upgrades is terrific as well as their price. We are going back with my mom...aka The 'negotiator'...and I was wondering what can I ask them to throw in or modify in price greatly since a big sticking point with them is minimums and I feel like I need to be thrown something in order to feel better about the minimums.
If anyone feels uncomfortable posting their upgreades please FM me.

The only advice I can give is to really consider using their recommended vendors b/c if you used 4 or 5 of them, you will not have to pay for their meals on the day of...ex: photographers, DJ. I used about 6 of their vendors and had a CH upgrade as well

ask for free chair covers, wine on each table, free chocolate fountain, and some other additions to the vh.

Oh upgrades I have: we added the seafood bar, Viennese hour, we also asked for a caviar station. We also added an extra hour on top of the VH

So basically if I ask them to throw something in I might get it? I wanted to ask them to add onto the cocktail hour the seafood boat. But that is all I am really looking for should I ask for something else?

When I booked JT I did not even think to ask them if they could throw stuff in. Here is my suggestion. After booking JT myself about 6 months ago and having time to think things over this is what I would ask for:
1.chair covers as their chairs are really ugly without them 2. bottle of wine on every table 3. chocolate fountain or lobster during CH
I am sure I am missing a few things but this is what I would try and see if they could add or throw in for you.
I plan on going back there and asking for #1 and 3 myself. I am really hoping for the chair covers b/c they can be pretty pricey.
Oh, and if you use 4 or more of their vendors, they will throw something in during your CH. I was told sushi but being I don't eat this I want to see if they would do lobster.
