Im a little upset that my minimum is 200 people. I have the Dome room on a Friday night. I have been reading lately that people were given a 150 minimum! Theres no way that Im going to reach 200, and when I signed the contract I didnt really care because #1- I was about 3 applemartinis deep and #2 - all I cared about was getting the Dome room! Should I call and talk to another BM to try and get my minimum lowered since I know that brides were told 150 for a friday night in the dome room? I mean I know it wouldnt hurt,,,but I was an idiot and signed the contract! Also, will they throw stuff in to make up the difference if I dont reach 200?? Im so upset at this right now!!!! TIA

yes when i looked at JT last year the skylight room was divided and the dome room was for bigger parties i was told.
My wedding is too big for the dome room, we are having close to 400 guests so we had to take the skylight room

Well FH asked about the dome room and they told us they can fit about 275 MAYBE 300 in there, but were having between 350-400 guests so they wouldnt be able to fit in there...And when i went a few times to jericho and the skylight room is opened up and not divided it is alot bigger
They probably meant that for 150 guests they'd rather divide the skylight room, rather than put 150 guests in the dome room and make it look empty since it can fit a decent amount 275-300

Thanks girls,,,and you're right,,I really cant compare my contract to others,,I will drive myself insane! I guess if I cant meet my minimum,,Ill beg for the extras!!!!

Yeah maybe the seafood bar hahaha, or dont know if you got it already or not but maybe the VH hour lol...but those are BIG extras so dont know, if its just a few guests then they wouldn't do that...Maybe the sushi bar
