Also, i dont know if anyone else is using pedestals besides me... but JT lets them do a petal drop on the first dace for the bride and groom.... maybe you could do snowflakes (obviously not real) or something....just a thought

wow!! thats crazy! im def going to look at pedestals - or use one of the other recommended florists.....im not from LI so we are just going to see all the florists that are in the JT book....

the christmas theme is definitley fun but i dont want to go overboard with it - because than it might become cheezy......for example my BM's are going to wear a neutral color like taupe but we'll all carry red roses, on top of the regular vienesse hour they are also throwing in hot chocolote, egg nog and christmas cookies, and i want to do something with a christmas tree - either put pics of us on the branches or do like yelley suggested and do a place card tree....and i think we'll do a simple centerpiece like the one i posted (hopefully that will save us some $$ that we can use toward ceremony decor).....i just dont want to get to carried away with it all

Very pretty centerpiece!!!! I totally understand about going overboard... b/c im Fall everyone keeps giving me leaves and pumpkins and brown and orange, which im not loving...

I live on SI but im from Queens so its def a pain to get back and forth to meet and book all the vendors.

i cant imagine if there was a SIW site - staten island is waaaaaay too small for this sort of thing - i think there would be fights everyday - thats why i LOVE LIW!!!!!! nobody on here knows me (i think!) staten island girls are yucky - JMO and not you girls - i just mean in general.....

and i hear what you are saying about the fall theme.....any theme can be overkill.......i dont want my wedding to look like a holiday party - i just think christmas is romantic so i want to incorporate that feeling everyone gets around the holidays.....
