Jericho Terrace brides: Questions! Can anyone help??
Just met with my day of coordinator, and came up with a few questions...JT is closed today for Easter so can't answer the questions.Can you girls help?
1) Anyone know how much the Viennese hour was and what it included? I think it was around $15pp, but don't remember. I really love desserts but had reservations about this because I'm afraid a lot of guests will be gone and it will be a waste to pay for them. My DOC suggested I ask if I could do 1/2 the guests. Anyone know this is possible?
2) Anyone know if they allow sparklers? I was hoping to do it as part of the exit.
3) Are chair covers included or extra? I think I recall them being included.
4) For brides who got married at JT, when do they let you in if you want to do a run-through?
5) When do they start letting vendors come in to start setting up?

chair covered are included.sparklers are NOT allowed. not even for viennese.i was SUPER upset!!!!
as far as for half the guests.. i cant confirm but i dont think that would be possible?

HI I am having the Vientian hour and it is $15 extra. I don't know any of the other answers. Do you mind telling me how much you are paying per person and when you are getting married?

When about outside? If the guests lined up outside the front entrance of the building, sparklers are not even allowed outside?

the chair covers are includedas for a rehearsal i was told we could schedule one for a few days in advance, otherwise we would have a run through 30 min before the ceremony starts
as for you getting there you're allowed to get there an hour before the ceremony starts
sorry i dont know any other answers

i read up a bit on sparklers for a while because i also wanted them somehow incorporated/...sparklers are actually illegal in the state of ny, not to say that people dont get them and since its just sparklers its not really enforced however a reception hall would not allow you to use them on their property im pretty sure from what i read up on

Anyone know this is possible?It is $15pp and as far as what it includes, well its ALOT i cant even remember every single thing but here is just some of the stuff. Chocolate fountain with fruits, rice krispies treats and other stuff to dip in the chocolate, popcorn machine, cotton candy, candy apples, waffle bar, zeppoles, pies, cakes, cookies, pastries, creme brulee, crepe station and more. I dont know if they will allow for 1/2 the guests to tell you the truth, i wish they would. what you can do is do the smaller viennese option which is pastries and cookies on each table.

Well here is what i'll say about your exit, will anybody even be there? when dh and I left we were the last ones out of there which is usually the case. We had to stay to say goodbye to all our guests. Then after we were finally able to go to bridal suite, get all our things, JT also packaged up all our stuff and we waited for our stuff, we had our table numbers, cardbox, table runners were mine, plus stuff from Viennese hour, the top of our cake and more, and not to mention staying to tip some ppl. We honestly left 30 mins after everybody so i wouldnt even worry about this, the bride and groom are usually the last to leave. But i doubt they will allow it anyways.

I didnt have ceremony there, i did it at a church but just about all RH's dont do rehearsals, they do a run through just 30 mins before ceremony. SOMETIMES if you ask if you can do it a few days before they will allow it but some rh's even charged to do this, so just ask, depends on your bm i will say and also what is going on at your RH around that time.
5) When do they start letting vendors come in to start setting up? Well also will depend if there is an event in your room before your wedding, for example if you have an evening wedding and there is an afternoon wedding in there before but even if not most come about 1-2 hours before to set up, most is done the hour before. Thats why they give brides the advice of NOT trying to see their room before its finished bc they would freak out if they did but all rh's do it like this and know how to get it done. For my friends wedding i walked into her room when CH started and they just had started fixing up. Dont even worry about this bc YOU wont be the one telling your vendors what time to get there. I didnt tell my florists when to get there, they just knew when. They all know when to go and set it up,they do this every weekend. They all arrange these things amongst themselves, the vendors and the rh that is. Even my cake person found out on his own when to deliver cake.

try to get the VH for less - or have other things thrown in for free (waffles, chocolate fountain, things like that are extra)chair covers were free and included when we got married
they may or may not charge you for a rehearsal if you want one at the hall before the wedding
i doubt they will let you use sparklers - when my SIL got married at JT a few years ago they used to come out with things on fire but they stopped that b/c something happened to a guest i think - the presentation of our VH was def not as cool as when my SIL got married....oh well, it was still nice
... i highly doubt they will do sparklers, but maybe if its outside they will? you can just try to do it without asking....
