Jericho Terrace Brides -- Venetian Hour Question?

Question for JT brides, or anyone who has been to a wedding there: I would like to add the venetian hour for my wedding which will be in the penthouse room, and was wondering if they bring in all the desserts in the center of the dance floor and if it stays out for the entire hour (if it does, does that mean that there won't be any dancing at all for that hour or could they only have the desserts out for a 1/2 hour and then more dancing for the remaining 1/2 hour)?

I don't think they put the cart in the middle of the dance floor. They probably put it on the side, like the rolling bars. I would ask your BM.

If I remember correctly my BM told me that they roll it out onto the dance floor for awhile and then they move them to the sides or corners.

I have been to a wedding in the dome room and the venitian hour was on the dance floor. There is no dancing until they clear the dance floor again.

Yes, usually vienesse hour is brought out to the middle of the dance floor at most venues

I'm not sure what room my brother and SIL had but their vienesse was actually in the back of the room..I think it connected to another room. I'm going to ask my SIL and find out more for you!

If there is room elsewhere, you can always request that it be set up somewhere else other than the dance floor.

We had ours in the dome room. They rolled them into the middle of the floor. Once the crowd cleared, they moved the tables and the dancing restarted!

They rolled out the whole venetian set up onto the dance floor... my guests continued to dance around it
