Jericho Terrace HELP!

I need some help!
2 things on Wednesday I went to see JT and I had the worse experience ever. I loved the place but the BM was so NOT NICE. He showed me one menu and one room for the Cocktail Hour and the DOME room for the reception. If I didnt ask about the other reception room he wouldnt of shown me I dont think.
We did our negotiations in the cocktail room, with another couple in there. Once he told me the price he said there was no budging at all on the price. Now im looking to get married on a saturday in November and he was so not nice about the whole thing. Told me I could go cheaper if I did it on a friday or another month.
I went home sooooo upset. Then I my Fiances family has a friend getting married there in January and said the same guy helped her and did the same thing went back and spoke with someone else.
I heard there is more then one menu, and when I asked if I can change some things to get the price down to what I can afford he said NO!
Im going to call today but I was wondering if anyone who is getting married in November would like to share prices with me? Also if anyone has a checklist of some sort of what to ask when you see these places that would help out so much. My MIL is driving me nuts and Ive cried so much already about this wedding that Im at my breaking point. My mom had surgery yesterday for Breast Cancer (the last part) *She is doing great! and my life is upside down..... Im hoping for some helpful answers I know this is suppose to be my happiest time of my life but it hasent been, and now im fighting with my fiance over it all...

Again sorry so long but i needed to vent and get some help!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Hi!
Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. Who did you deal with? I just got married there and worked with Mike Closs. He is great and easy-going. I think you should try talking to him.

I spoke with Vincent Gallo

Vicent Gallo is from St. Pancras Church - not from Jericho Terrace - I know because Father Gallo married me and my husband.

I believe Jozieb0925 asked - who in Jericho Terrace did you spoke with??

***PLEASE*** Call and make an appointment with Mike Closs. He is my BM and is FABULOUS!!! My FH and I spent 2 hrs with him talking prices. We went from a fri in July at $80 pp to a Thur in June for $55 pp.

PLEASE DO THIS!! He comes HIGHLY recommended from other JT girls here.

Menu is flexible, please FM if you have more questions.

I'm sorry you had such a horrible experienc there. I've never met with Mike Closs but have heard he is great to work with from other JT girls here. Our BM is Chad and he has been great too. Our wedding is on a Saturday and we were able to negotiate the price down a little. He showed us both menus and every single room in the place. Definitely go back and speak to another BM Good luck and keep us updated.

Im so sorry about your mom and Im glad she's doing well. It's horrible when people are so inconsiderate at such an important time in your life. I have my own stress with family so I totally understand. If it helps at all I knew Mike Closs from JT personally along time ago and he truly is a great guy. Talk to him Im sure he'll do everything he can to help you out he's very down to earth and all though the salesman can come out in him, he does take no for an answer. He's also alot of fun to deal with so he brings the stress level down. Good Luck!!

That is so weird! I had such a great experience booking with them. My BM is the general manager, Robert Stevenson (nobody else seems to be working with him). There are definitely two menus, but it's true: I didn't get the impression that price was negotiable. Still, the prices are so reasonable that I didn't think twice about it.

Re: Jericho Terrace HELP!

I called them back and spoke with Lou Giacalone. He seemed to be helpful and felt bad for me. We have a meeting set up tomorrow and a tasting. He said we can work on some things and see what we can do to help you out.
He told me if we moved the date by 3 weeks we can save 10 bucks pp.

Ill keep everyone posted and let you know how it goes tomorrow!

:)
