Ok I am officially sure that I am trying to drive myself insane!! I can't even remember how many RH's I've been to at this point! Last nite I went to go see Jericho Terrace and Leonards...both are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! At first I didn't consider either because I had wanted to find a place by the water, but I wasn't getting that 'feeling' at any except Surf Club, and I'm not too happy with the menu they are offering me there. So I need to hear your girls opinions on Leonards and Jericho Terrace, I am really, really torn!!
Leonards - I absoluvely LOVE the reception room, I only got to peek at tha cocktail room because there was a wedding going on but from what I see it was really pretty. The Lobbys are pretty too, some parts are a little over-done (just my opinion!) but its still pretty. Also, FH and I had our prom there about a year after we started going out on June 4th, and that date is available..and March 4th is our anniversary so I like the whole idea of that...One thing I didn't like was the BM, he just wasn't very personable at all, he wasn't mean or rude or anything, just spoke with a very thick accent and just got straight to the point with everything. For girls who booked, who is your BM?? oOo I also have a food tasting with them this Saturday.
Jericho Terrace - BREATH TAKING and great for pictures pretty much everywhere you turn, and pictures are a big deal for me. Their Lobby and outside area are BEAUTIFUL!! However, the room that I'm going to be in 'The Oak Room' I'm really not thrilled with at all. I know JT has a lot nicer rooms that are more my 'feel'. The BM manager, was the easier person I've ever talked to - he was so down to earth, funny and helpful!!! I just emailed him to see if another room was available to me and now I'm waiting on his answer...
So come on girls - give me the good the bad and the ugly!!!! I am the most indecisive person EVER and my FH is no help at all..he thinks they're all nice. I know he wants me to be happy so he's trying not to influence me with his opinion...

Re: Jericho Terrace & Leonards
Well I booked with Leonards because FH really wanted to have it there so we didn't look anywhere else. I had 3 cousins get married at Jericho Terrace so we didn't even consider it just cause we wanted our families to go somewhere else for a change.
We met with Mauricio [sp]. He was nice but not much personality but we didn't care. I'm not looking to make friends I just wanted to book my wedding. He answered all of our questions and even held our date for 2 months before we booked. We have not attended a wedding there but I've been to just about every other hall in Nassau County so we wanted to be different. I know Leonards seems a little over the top but FH and I loved that about it. We loved the detail and all of the decorations. Perfect for the type of wedding we wanted.
Not sure if this helped but if you have specific questions you can FM me.

Re: Jericho Terrace & Leonards
I think both places are beautiful! Both do a great job but if I had to chose between the two I would pick Jericho Terrace because I feel that Leonard's has too much going on for me but it depends on what you like. I read that you also loved Swan Club, that was my other favorite but we opted out because they said here remodeling next year and had no pictures that looked any different from the place now and I didnt like that the cocktail hour was outside especially since Im gettimg married in July. Anyway, I think you should go back to both maybe two different nights and see how you feel then, maybe take some pics. I know the food is delicious at both

I have been to events at both and I would say that is a really hard choice. Try a food tasting at both and speak to different people, take lots of pictures and then decide.

JT was the place that we were going back and forth with our Rh now, The Riviera. I love JT but, since we ending up going with getting married in the summer we loved the idea that at The Riviera you can get married outside on the water, sorry . JT didnt have that to offer us.

Been to both. I love JT in decor. But the food at Leonards is great! I would go with L ( it may be a little over the top) but it will be wonderful!

Thank you so much girls!! I'm taking all of this in! My plan right now is to go back to both of them this weekend. I have an appt with Leonards for a food testing, so I'll go there and then go to JT on the way back and see if he can show me the Skylight room. And as if you girls didn't think I was crazy enough, I also plan on seeing Villa Lombardi's on the way back lolz....Thanks again!

I agree wth the above bride. If u can get the Sky Light Terrace room or Dome then pick JT, also b/c I am a JT bride. I also heard that JT is making a skylight terrace to the penthouse room. I also think u should get a food tasting.

My mother said the same thing, she said if you loved your reception room at JT it would have been perfect, so if he will work with you and give you that room, then let that make up your mind!
Thanks!

I have a food tasting at Leonards at 12..I'm hoping to be out of there by 1:30 (not really sure how long the tastings are??) and its only a 20min ride to JT so I should be there no later than 2, so it should be early enough to see the rooms. Thanks for the heads up!
ETA : I met with Robert, he was SUCH a sweetheart..I can't say enough great things about him!

I went to the food tasting 2 weekends ago. They bring out a lot of food actually. I would say we tried about 9 things. It was all really good.
We decieded to book with Jericho Terrace though, we just fell in love with it!
