I am new to the website! I am getting married on October 17, 2009. My reception will be at Jericho Terrace. I have been so excited that we booked it here until I was at a bridal show yesterday and someone from Contemporary Bride informed me that they are building a new room. I am completely nervous because will we see bull dozers and such on our wedding day?? Does anybody have any information on this? I am going there on Sept. 10th for their bridal show and I am going to ask but I was hoping to hear from other bride's who might know about this. Thanks so much!!!

I don't know if they are building another room, they are however putting in a skylight/dome in the penthouse room.

they are not building a new room, I believe they are renovating an existing room.

they are renovating the existing penthouse room...it will be done way before your wedding....i'm using the room for my wedding...pics in my album...its going to be beautiful !!!

Yea, I believe that they had started renovations awhile ago. I read that on one of the forums. I could be wrong, though. But they definitely are not building a NEW room. No worries!

I am a JT bride and the room will be complete way before your wedding. It was offered to me as it will be complete by April. I declined because I have no idea if I will like the decor or not. Either way your SAFE!

Yes, I agree with our fellow brides. I know they are doing some renovations. Including adding plasma TV's etc.

Everyone's right it's just doing changes to the Penthouse Room. Which I'm totally excited for cause that is going to be my room. There doing a skylight/dome and a new dance floor as well. They are stating right after New Year's. New Year's Eve will be the last wedding in that room until May. So have no worries. I will see you tomorrow at the show case. I just remembered something...someone had mentioned to me that she works in mineola...and JT sent around surveys to the residents of Mineola. The survey asked what they thought about adding another floor to JT. This might be what rumor you heard. I haven't heard anything about the results, though. Either way, we're fine.
