My friend just visited JT recently... Has anyone heard of anything good or bad about this place? JT told her she can have her wedding from 4-9pm if she likes. Does that mean they will only have one wedding at the room that day?
And isn't it odd that they still have May 27th available? If so, would she be able to bargain with them? :D It's a memorial weekend Sunday....

Well, it could be that someone cancelled their May 27th wedding and that's why it's available. Also, for a Sunday wedding, it's normal to have a late afternoon/evening wedding. Not sure if that means it would only be one event in that room for that day - I'm sure they'd tell her if she asks.
As for JT, I really liked it. I have only heard good things about them. They were our 2nd choice and we didn't book them because they could only offer us their smallest room and we just felt it would be a little tight for us.
Anyway, JT is a great place. Good luck to your friend.

JT is a good location. We looked at them and they have great food. They always get good reviews. We didn't choose them because we got turned off by the banquet manager we spoke to.

Re: Jericho Terrace Opinions?
I'm a former JT bride. My wedding was incredible. EVERY SINGLE THING was taken care of down to the littlest detail, the food was amazing, the place is SO elegant, and the staff is unbelievable. My wedding was 3 months ago and people still talk about how wonderful it was....and i'm not just saying that 'cause it was my wedding....they really took care of me and made my day a dream come true. I have absolutely no complaints. If u check it out talk with Robert.... Good Luck!

i am booked with them we knew we wanted it from the moment we walked in - it is so beautiful, i have heard only good things about the food and service. . ..
the only complaints i have heard: sometimes brides run into eachother ( i dont really care about that)
sometimes music from another party can be heard when someone is making a speech ( for some reason this doesnt bother me either)
but two things you could ask about!
Good Luck!

Re: Jericho Terrace Opinions?
JT is a nice place. My cousin had her wedding there. She had a day wedding. I didn't like the staff there. They were not friendly at all. They were rude. There was another wedding at 4pm (right after my cousin's wedding) and the staff started to remove my cousin's belongings out of the bridal suite b/c another bride needed it. They brought her belongings down to the reception room. There was no closet in the reception room. The staff were walking around with my cousin's suitcases. They were just going to leave the stuff behind the sweatheart table. That is just sooooo wrong. We complained and asked them to put all the stuff back into the suite (it was only 3:30pm). My cousin didn't end up removing everything out of the suite until a little after 4pm. Evening/night weddings usually start at 6pm. That would allow the staff to clean up the mess the day wedding party made. Your friend should check to see if there is another wedding before hers.
Btw, the food was okay... The food at the CH was great! The location is nice and the reception & ceremony room are very pretty!

Re: Jericho Terrace Opinions?
i booked JT, it was the first place we looked and it ended up being the place we booked after looking at half a dozen places. we liked it because the rooms were beautiful and it was spacious enough for our guests. i wanted an outdoor ceremony but didn't want to deal with the headache of rain and weather, so this was the next best thing. some of the bad things i've heard were the fact that they have multiple weddings going on at once and the noise level. we're having an 11:30 ceremony, so we'll probably be the first wedding of the day. don't have to worry about noise level at that time. we met with two different banquet managers and didn't let their personalities influence us. we loved the first BM, hated the second.
