I havent been to either place to visit or at an affair in quite some time so i am no help but honestly..when asking these questions we tend to be biased...lol
i suggest making a pro con list for each place and then maybe that will help you decide....

i think it all depends on what youre looking for. For some JT is better and for others CB would be a better choice, depending on the type of wedding they want and the overall look theyre trying to achieve. I got married at JT, never been to CB so not sure what their rooms looks like, although DH went a long time ago and loved it. Not sure how different they are from eachother.

Even though i got married at JT, i wont sit here and say that its the better choice for you. Everyone is different and looking for different things. Which one do you think has more of what youre looking for? and who is offering you the best deal?

I agree. We can say one is better but that is 1 persons opinion. I think overall it depends on what you are lokking for. My cousin got married at Chateu Briand and the ceremony and reception was beautiful and well done. I am getting married at JT which is just as beautiful but I think has a different ambiance which was right for my taste. So check out both and see what you like. Have funa and good luck!

I say Jericho Terrace but Im biased. Their food was fricken amazing and they were so attentive.

Im definitely biased....it was down to CB or JT for us too.

We went to CB first and before we left we knew we were sold...we went to JT right after and were NOT happy with the way we were treated at all (and I had my heart set on JT from the get go) so it really depends on nothing else except for what you want.

Regardless

Both have more then 1 affair at a time.
JT is elegant
CB is modern

I think you really need to go to both, balance what you are getting and the look your prefer.

i have never been to CB but from pics i LOVE it - it reminds me of a club where JT looks more like a reception hall.....

we went with JT bc my FHs sister got married there 4 years ago and her wedding was amazing - she had her reception in the skylight room and everything was amazing - we liked the skylight room for our ceremony and we liked the dome room - and we knew the food was ok b/c we have been there before....so we just went with what we knew KWIM?

i say make the pro con list or go with the place that gives more for your money

Just like the previous posts said, it depends on what kind of wedding 'look' you are going for. We were debating between JT and CB as well, but we booked CB bc it was a more modern look and the food was freaking amazing.

Honestly you cannot go wrong with either choice.

I have been to weddings at both. Honesty, both are excellent choices - good food, etc. See what the package includes.

I must say I have a preference for CB's Cocktail and Vienesse hour (although I like JT's location better)- I have been to way too many weddings and it is by far the best VH. They also have a huge photo studio which they can do bridal party CH in (quite a bit larger than most suites).

I am not getting married at either of these as many of my friends were married there and I wanted to pick something different but great choices.

What rooms are you looking at?

well i kind of have my mind more towards the Jericho Terrace new penthouse room it's going to look amazing!!! ....CB's was the place where FH's brother married in the room where the floor elevates but FH doesn't want to use the same hall...I personally don't mind....but he's pushing for something different and i got to also respect his ideas

i know alot of ppl who want to stay away from halls that a past family member or friend used. Is he really against using the same hall? if so then i would look elsewhere just based on that. Were those your only 2 choices? if your fh says no to CB would JT be your only other option or are there any other places that you liked?

i am partial to CB, but they are really 2 totally diff styles. If you like more modern decor you would go with CB, more of a classic look with chandeliers & such JT would be a better choice.

I like CB because it is just so modern. When u look @ the furniture in the lobby u are just like wow. There is indoor/outdoor ceremony options, a chapel (which is hideous, i dont know why they dont do it over) but some may like it, as well as indoor/outdoor cocktail houroption. There are 2 huge photography studios, & just so much more.

I feel the same way. A friend of mine used JT in 2007 so I didnt even bother looking there.

i could see not wanting to get married at the same place someone else did - for us its not a big deal, my FSILs wedding was 4 years ago and she had a different room than the one we are having - plus the menu changed since then and our wedding is going to be very different than hers was - especially the reception decor - she also got married at a church and we are having a non religious ceremony at JT....plus none of our friends and none of my family were at her wedding so the only people have been there already are my FHs aunts and uncles...also we are getting married around the holidays so the decor is a little different - so for us it wasnt an issue - but i can see how some people might want a different place....

We had the same decision and like what stated before in previous comments..What are you looking for? If we wanted to go one route we will go with JET or if we wanted to be a little different, more modern go with CB...we chosed CB because it fit our personality and what we vision our wedding to be. GL.

My sister got married 2 years ago at Jericho Terrace
It was wonderful.
Food was delicious
Service was wonderful
Place is gorgeous

I loved it here.

Definetly would recommend
