So we narrowed it down to these two venues. The two are Totally different! Can not decide which way to go though. Any opinions?? Anyone get married at either place and recommend anything??

I've never been to The Hamlet so I can't really compare but I also can't say enough wonderful things about JT.
They were sooo wonderful there! The food is delicious and they offer sooo much of it. The staff was incredible I would highly HIGHLY reccomend them
My only concern there is the 3 weddings/parties at a time. I know they are staggered (6, 730 and 830) We would get the 6:00 (thats all that is left for the day). Were you running into the other brides and the guests? Was it crazy in the halls and outside for the smokers? Were the bathrooms always packed since there are the two rooms upstairs using the same bathrooms?

Which Hamlet? There's one in Commack, Hauppauge and Mt Sinai.
I'm getting married at the Mt Sinai location and LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it. My sister got married at the Hauppauge location and it was very pretty as well. We almost booked at the Commack but in the end didn't because the room was just a tad bit too big for us.
Regardless, you can't go wrong with a Hamlet. They are all so gorgeous.
It's the Commack one. The others would be too far for us. We are going back tonight to look at it because I remember the cocktail room being small so I want to see how many people it would hold. We are going to have about 175-200 people so I want to make sure there is enough seating for all of them.

My parents live in the hamlet (and i lived there till i moved in with FH). It has great service and they treat you great. I went to a formal party there before i lived there and remember being very impressed. Since moving there we have had smaller parties there and always pleased.

I got married at JT! I loved it. They really did an amazing job. The staff there went above and beyond. The food was delicious. Everyone had amazing things to say. I highly reccomend it!!

I love the CH space there. I see what you mean about it possibly being tight for 200 people though. I was looking there for June and I knew it wouldn't be an issue since it would be warm out and the majority of people would be outside on the terrace area. Honestly though, I think between the lobby area, bar and terrace you'll have plenty of space.

I got married at Hamlet Willow Creek Mt Sinai and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I can not say enough good things about it!
