I think they are a bit different. I'm biased ofcourse. I went to a wedding at Jericho Terrace last year and enjoyed it but there were things I personally was not impressed about it that are important to me. I posted a review on this. I will look for it and add it on this post I love Woodbury CC. I have only heard great things about it. I love the understated elegance, the grounds, the delicious food and above all, the mahogany look. See I told you I was biased.
ETA>> This was the review I posted. Ibumped a thread for you. You will find other opinions as well.
'A mini review for Jericho Terrace.
I went to a wedding at Jericho Terrace this past February on a Saturday night. The place was elegant, clean and the entrance had staff directing the guests that were coming in. The cocktail hour's food was very good and plenty of seating space considering that the wedding that I went had about 300 guests. The reception area was nice and everything was in place as it was supposed to be. The food for the reception was good except for the pasta that we had which we all agreed at the table was a little undercooked. I noticed that the staff didn't offer to get drinks for the guests. I didn't get ask not even once. This is important to me because I want my guests to get excellent service. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the wedding.'

Re: Jericho Terrace vs. Woodbury CC
I vote WCC because I really don't like the set-up of JT with all the different levels and stairs. I really don't like the decor. Too much variety of colored marble and granite. It just doesn't have a nice flow and is definitely not inviting/warm. JMHO.

Re: Jericho Terrace vs. Woodbury CC
I have been to a wedding at Jericho Terrace and went to look at WCC when we were booking our wedding.
I think they are both nice but consider the time of year you are getting married. The ground at WCC are gorgeous but they are useless if you are getting married when its cold out.

I booked the WCC. I did not look the Jericho Terrace so I really do not have an opinion on that. I am getting married on Dec 3rd and the WCC offered the most for its money and one of the lower prices that I got. Dominic is great to work with and they are very accommodating.
Hard to compare these 2 because of the grounds factor. WCC has so much land to take pics on and JT doesnt. Plus I tasted the food at WCC and it was delicious!

Re: Jericho Terrace vs. Woodbury CC
I'm SO biased!
We had seen so many places and were on the hunt for a LI CH or else we would do a catered loft wedding in Manhattan. So when I called places I was very blunt and honest and let them know right away that I was on a budget, not willing to spend more than XX amount, had to have a nighttime wedding and would prefer a Friday night, could they help me? Most places told me no right away, others were not so friendly or forthcoming. WCC was one of the not so friendly. We explained we wanted a night time wedding and it had to be a Friday and the lady said 'you better get married on a church because you can't use the grounds after 8pm' - very sharply and kind of rude. OK, maybe she was having an off day, but still, we never bothered to see the place because I got a bad vibe. We had also heard a few things that were kind of eyebrow raising about WCC, but then again, everyone has a 'weird' story about every place so we didn't pay attention to this (there's stories about EVERY place, so I generally ignore it). We moved on.
When I called JT they treated me like my money and wedding mattered. Went over all the details over the phone and set up an appointment for me to see everything in person. Once we got there, Mike C. remembered our conversation and did not try to pressure us to go for a higher package, let me have a small guarantee and was just generally awesome. Yes, there are no gardens, but there are still tons of places to take pictures. Plus we're getting married in a church and will go to a garden to take pictures after the ceremony. We had a tasting and the food at JT is the best...plus the liquor is all top shelf, no matter which wedding package you choose (this was important to my drunken BF who's a Grey Goose lush!).
We also had a similarly great experience at Majestic Gardens and highly recommend that place. The owner, John, was so welcoming and fun. The gardens and outdoor space cannot be beat and they have very reasonable packages.
Good luck - hope I helped!

Another vote for WCC. I really think that the decision has to do with your personal taste. I don't like plaes that are all marble and gold w/ chandeliers. It's just not my taste. I much prefer understated elegance. That's exactly what I found with WCC. I found WCC to be more elegant. Again, it's a matter of taste.
Incidentally, I don't know who the other person spoke with at WCC. I've never been treated rudely or had the experience of anyone being abrupt. Believe me, I speak with the staff there quite a bit and have never been spoken to rudely.
