oooh, I liked him. The Dirty Dancing Dad--he was a good guy, this is sad Law & Order will never be the same....and the new guy in his place --Denis Farina(?)--don't like him at all!

I new he was sick, but he was supposed to get better... he was going to star in a new Law and Order show... oh...I'm so sad.

I am so sad. I loved him in Dirty Dancing and Law and Order. The show hasn't been the same without him.

I just read this. Really weird too because he was just diagnosed and he was suppose to be in the early stages of it and they thought it was going to be cured. He even spoke about working on the show while going for chemo.

He was a very talented actor.

I did not even know he was sick! That is so sad, he is going to be missed on the set of law and order and I loved him also in dirty dancing. my prayers are with his family.

OMG.... I just read the same info that he was sick and was still going to work on the tv show and they were going to work around his treatments!!! How sad! I Loved him on Law and Order!!! !

Wow - I didn't have any idea he was sick - I've been anxiously waiting for the new Law and Order - This is sooooo sad.

OMG what a shock. I had no idea he was sick. I thought he left Law and Order because he wanted a change and he wanted to be on a more relaxing show....Like the show he started production on...Trial by jury. He will be missed. He was a really good actor and I still enjoy watching the repeats of law and order....
