Bride of the Week!

This week Jesaroo2 was selected as BOTW by her fellow brides. There is something very romantic and endearing about young love, the kind of love (often at first site) that our grandparents reminisce and boast so proudly about. And that's exactly the type of love that found our Couple of the Week.

Jessie and John met in college and have remained happily in love ever since. In fact, their love stood the 'trials and tribulations' of 'youth', college life, and some 'real life' challenges like John being sent away for a year as part of his military obligations and becoming a Suffolk County Officer. In fact, true to the old adage that 'absence makes the heart grow fonder', their love endured and grew stronger and stronger, making it clear that they were meant to be together forever. Their first step toward happily ever after came upon John's return home, when the two moved in together, sharing a life, hopes, dreams and a dog. But, living in bliss became more blissful when John made the 'arrangement' official.

One day, while Jessie was out enjoying a little 'freedom' with her friends, John called insisting she make her way home so that they could eat. Despite the obvious sensitivity of the gesture, John not wanting to eat without his beloved, his insistence only incensed Jessie, bringing her home and to the dinner table in a foul mood.

Ready to lash out at John she made her way upstairs only to be greeted by hundreds of glimmering candles, their dog Izzy dressed in a canine bridal gown, and John offering his beautiful bride to be two dozen roses and a proposal that would take them down the road of husband and wife.

The fairytale continues as the happy couple plan their storybook wedding at the Eastwind Estate for September 2008.

that is so cute!!! How come they didn't do that for all us other BOTW's!!!

Well actually I think I was the one who told them about BOTW...I wrote to Ron and Kim one day (right before the last Bridal Extravaganza, when I was BOTW ) kidding around and asking if I'll get a BOTW crown reigning while I'm there and they both wrote back and asked me what exactly was a BOTW so I explained. Ever since then they've been including a brief bio about each BOTW in their Newsletters!
