newly engaged trying to grasp a handle on all the planning!
We are looking to get married in Oct/Nov. 2010--(perfect Fall weather) and I wanted to incorporate jewel tones into the decor (purples, greens, gold, cranberry). Any ideas?

Some ideas from an article for your jewel-toned fal theme. For the decor, use a lush velvet for a drape in either gold, cranberry, deep amethyst purple, aquamarine, turquoise, ruby, emerald green for the reception space. Add antique brooches, peacock feathers for floral centerpieces, crystal candelabras, and stemware. Use jewel-toned tablecloths, napkins, glass votive holders with tea lights, luminaries, lanterns, and glass beads. Incorporate jewel stones such as: amber, garnet, topaz, tourmaline and citrine into your fall wedding for jewelry/floral inspiration.
