My MIL bought me jewelry to go with my dress from the dress shop. I had picked out the jewelry and everything. It is very pretty, I love how it goes with the dress. It is costum jewelry. When I went to look at wedding rings last weekend, the woman offered me a necklace and earrings to borrow the day of my wedding. It is absolutely stunning. I really would rather wear the real jewelry, but I dont want my MIL to feel bad. What should I do?

I say wear the costume jewlery because knowing me I would break or lose the real jewlery and then have to pay for it. I try not to borrow anything.

What does the real deal look like? Sounds like a once in a lifetime kinda think if it's really expensive!

Wear the costume jewelry. It was a gift from MIL and every time you wear it after your wedding you will think of your wedding day. The real jewelry you will have to give back.
