my mom is my maid of honor. i am getting all of the girls (including my mom) a massage and a spa party. the rest of the girls are getting beach bags and sweatshirts and a homemade scrapbook. i am getting my mom the sweatshirt and prob not the beach bag. but since shes the MOH and paying for most of the wedding and is MY MOM i want to get her something special. she is lending me day of jewelry as my something borrowed so i want to get her jewelry to wear on the day of as well. her dress is burgundy and my whole wedding theme is monochromatic reds so i was hoping to give her jewelry with some red, but also something she can maybe wear again.
i appreciate honest opinions - i really dont wear all that much jewelry TIA!

Are you using silver tones or gold tones? Because the two pendants are different in that sense. So I think that would make a difference as to which would be better with her dress. Can you post a pic of her dress? Thanks!

im an only child and i moved a bunch of times so i dont have that one friend thats been there since day 1. so it just made sense to make mom my MOH. here is her dress - im not going to buy anything until i see it in person in a few weeks so that will determine the gold vs silver thing although im 99% sure the detailing is in silver... her dress is in brodeux, dark red wine color:

What are your accentuating colors?because that would make a difference in the necklace they are both beautiful and I voted for the 1st one. Really sweet idea I got my Mom her day of jewelry as well, she has been running around with my worrying about me I'm sure she forgot herself.

all reds. monochromatic reds focussing on maroon/burgundy but there will be touches of others reds throughout like deep almost black red through hot pink red. i will also have touches of white and black and a tiny touch of silver but its red for the most part!
