Hi girls! I'm just wondering who everyone used to cover insurance on their rings. Looking to hopefully do it online. Already have an appraisal, just time to buy! Thanks for your help!

Yeah I saw the site, but it keeps saying it's down for technical difficulties. I'll keep trying!

Re: Jewelry Insurance.
If you have renters or homeowners insurance you can just put a rider on your policy...

Re: Jewelry Insurance.
you can get it through your regular insurance company. It's called a personal articles policy and they will cover the entire cost of the rings. I know state farm does it.

Re: Jewelry Insurance.
definitely Jeweler's Mutual, they are great!
I believe if you add the ring onto your renter's insurance, it is only covered if stolen from your home, not loss or theft in the street, but I'm not sure.

A rider on your renter or home insurance is the way to go if you have one.

Re: Jewelry Insurance.
I live in Bklyn and because we are too close to the water it is not covered under my parents homeowners insurance.. Mind you I don't like on the water and am over 2 miles but there are new rules so we went to State Farm and used my future address when my FH lives now in LI. It was def affordable and easy to get.
