Jewelry Opinion

ok i posted pics of a ring FH bought me about 2 years ago for my 21st birthday.....its in my album b/c i cant seem to figure out how to post it.....its a pear shaped ring with white and yellow diamonds....I LOVED this ring....when we got engaged i stopped wearing it b/c my ering is a pear solitaire and its too much to wear both of these rings at the same time....id like to ask my jeweler if she can turn this ring into a necklace for me - so i can wear it as a pendant - the point facing up towards my face....do you think this is a good idea? we were toying with the idea of selling it for wedding money but i LOVE this piece of jewelry and i want to keep it! do you think it will look nice as a necklace??

I'd do it - especially if you aren't going to wear it as a ring anymore.

it's gorgeous! I think it's best as a ring but it would look pretty as a pendant too....and if it has sentimental value also, don't sell it! you might regret it later!

thats how i feel.....we could use the money but i LOVE this ring - and it was a big gift for my 21st birthday.....i got so many compliments wearing this ring! i miss wearing it! and of course its from FH so i dont want to part with it....i just hope it doesnt look stupid as a necklace

that piece is gorgeous. i would hate to part with it too so i would def. turn it into a necklace.

i dont know how they would make it a necklace but i would wear it upside down - like it would hang from the pointy part and the round part would be at the bottom....

I think it has too much sentimental value to sell it...
I would def turn it into a necklace... And then if you have children you could always pass it down....

First off, GORGEOUS ring! I think that you should definitely keep it and either wear it as a right-hand ring on occasions OR make it a pendant. I think that it will look great as a pendant. IN fact, my mom did this with a ring years ago and it came out so pretty!
