I have the same issue. I have a strapless dress and can't decide on bigger earrings and no necklace, or smaller earrings and necklace. I definetly want hanging earrings, but if they are too big with a necklace it might be too much.

What are you doing with your hair and tiara? That might help impact your decision.

I voted for necklace & earrings... I have a strapless gown too... I don't wear big earrings ever so I may find it annoying...

I bought a necklace and brought it to my first fitting. I was sure I would love it, and when I saw it on, I decided against it. So I suggest buying a necklace that you can return, and bring it to your fittings.

well i have a strapless dress and i was going to wear diamond studs on my ears.
and for a necklace i didnt want anything to gaudy since the dress has enuff detail so i want something like the one in this pic:

ETS: if u go with chandelier earrings...no need for a necklace..

I would forgo the jewelry altogether and absolutely wear the hat that the model has on! You won't need anything else.

I probably wouldn't go with your 3rd option - JMO, because keep in mind your pictures/video will reflect your changes. And trust me you will be too busy to remember a small detail like this.

I say try different ones on with the dress - try with only earrings and then try with both and see what looks best.

The the women who was helping me told me that I couldn't wear a thick necklace with my gown -- but I got this beautiful set from my inlaws and matched perfectly. So I wore necklace, earrings and bracelet.

I have a dress that could be strapless or not and I am wearing a necklace with matching earrings, where the earrings hang just a bit. It's simple, yet elegant

Same thing, sammi102!
My mother's BF is very generous and she really can't wear most of it on a daily basis. I will be borrowing earrings, necklace and bracelet that have a tulip design, but it’s not overwhelming. My dress has a light flowery design embroidered with beads on it~~Very subtle.
