I'm going to my first one on Saturday. What do you usually give for a gift? I assume money? How much is standard? It's a pretty good friend of mine since high school.

I give what I would give at a baby shower since all of the Jewish friends I have who had baby namings did not have showers and specifically requeted that I hold off giving a gift until after the baby was born.

Money is usually given in increments of 18 (it's a lucky # in the Jewish faith...)
