my sister and a girlfriend of mine had card boxes where people put the envelopes in.

Re: jewish brides
The weddings that I've been to had one.
I don't see what the problem with that is - I'm having one.

Re: jewish brides
We used one...I didn't want to be responisble for losing any cards~
Apparently Jewish people don't use limos either. We did....I think things are different now...there is no religious reason...it is just tradition.
I say do what makes you happy
Here was our card holder....

Re: jewish brides
Something to hold the cards at a wedding isn't a 'Jewish' or not Jewish tradition - do what you feel is the best for YOU!

Re: jewish brides
I made a cardbox for the cards. I don't think there is any rule against having card boxes. I have been to jewish weddings that had that.

Re: jewish brides
My mom said the same thing! We're going to skip it and just let my dad be in charge of holding on to any. If FH and I get any we will just pass them off to him at some point or hope people seek out my parents to give it to them.
