Hi All!! Any advice on where to order yamulkas? What site has the best prices? How do you know what colors to pick that will match? Also, how far in advance? Does groom wear a different one than everyone else?

i haven't bought mine yet ... i'll probably end up buying about 50 (i have about 120 people coming but not all are jewish ... and obviously not all are male haha)

i heard that the black suite is the best because it doesn't cause any glare in photos ...

i found some somewhere for $1.85 each ... i odn't have the site on me now though ... just google it and you'll find it

ok does that match if i have a plum bridesmaid dress for the girls and silver/grey vests/ties for the men?

i think black is supposed to be the 'best' color only because it kind of blends in with peoples' hair and you don't really see it.

but obviously feel free to choose any color you like

I've heard to do black suede too, so that the flash doesn't reflect off of it in pics.

Do you think navy suede is okay or just black? I was planning to do navy and can't see there being a difference....right?

Totally - I think the key is suede and not satin. Doubt the color makes a difference.
