A friend of the families daughter passed away and I want to send a fruit basket.. is this ok to do after shiva is over?

You would normally do this DURING shiva, but it's totally fine to do after shiva as well. You want to send food, not flowers, and send something kosher.

I just found out and was upset I didn't go to Shiva. But I am happy to know I could still send something. :) thank you
