My FH is Jewish but we are getting married at catholic chruch which was our agreement if we were to ever get married but we are going to do something for his family at the hall. Im at a loss and I dont want his side of the family to feel left out. My problem is what is the glass that the groom breaks and where do i find it and the keepsake bag?

I love it you can get the glass in any color you want (mine matches my wedding colors) and you can put the glass in a picture frame after is broken HTH

Re: Jewish Brides I need your help
we bought ours on amazon for about $30 ....
ultimately, you can get any glass you want though - some people even use light bulbs because they make a bigger 'pop' sound. Just be careful not to use a thick glass because it can injure your FH (even though the shoe!)

Re: Jewish Brides I need your help
just do a google shopping search for: breaking glass jewish wedding
it came up with a bunch of things
some come with pouches, and some don't though, so make sure you know what you're buying
oh, and the color doesn't really matter since nobody will see the glass itself (it'll be in teh pouch the entire time). BUT, there are things you can buy to preserve the glass and turn it into art for your new house so if you're interested in doing that, you might care

my DH is catholic I am jewish, we got married at our RH. DH had to receive special dispensation to marry me and so did the priest. I am surprised the church OK with marrying to in the church. I always thought you needed to be baptized (clearly I could be wrong b/c I am jewish - what do I know)
