Re: Jewish Brides-- Ketubah Mounting for ceremony??

so it was matted, and you were able to write on it and display it, then you just had it framed in that matte?

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ketubah Mounting for ceremony??

we decided not to display it, but it would have been perfect on an easel... I haven't framed it yet but I picked the matt color based on the fame I want...Just have to get back to the store one of these days...

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ketubah Mounting for ceremony??

We had it matted after the scribe wrote in what she had to. Then it was displayed at ceromony and reception. After about a month we took it back to the store and got it framed. It is now in my living room. We used Stu Art in Baldwin for the matting and the framing. They did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them. Hope this helps!

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ketubah Mounting for ceremony??

thanks girls-- but what I am looking for is how to mount it on something- that we can still sign, right before the ceremony- then it gets displayed the ceremony-- so, it can't be framed yet.. or behind glass.

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ketubah Mounting for ceremony??

I had it mounted on foam board. The foam board had these plastic corners on it, which the ketubah went into. We were able to sign it like that, then displayed it on an easel. When we went to frame it, they just took it off the foam board and put it in the frame. We did this all at Michael's.

Randi:
Take the thing to a frame place and have them mount. This you will be able to write on and display and then ultimately bring to have framed.
