Jewish brides - saturday night wedding question

Original post by marymoon

Do most rabbis stick to the official ending time of shabbat, or will most of them just marry you once the sun has set? I have no idea about this. I just thought we could have a 4;30 or 5pm ceremony because sunset is at 4:11 pm, but then shabbat doenst officialy end until 5:15...does anyone know?

It's not a kosher caterer! we nooked NRC. NO ONE is kosher...well there are a few people who eat 'kosher', but they will eat more kosher style, as in they won't eat milk and meat together, and they won;t eat shellfish, pork, etc, but they WILL eat at a 'non kosher' restaraunt..and there will be a few people like that at the wedding, but maybe 2..defintie;y not enough to have the wedding at a kosher caterer. We didn't even consider it. but that's a good point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
