I am ordering them through J Lowey and they are online- I think it's www.kipot.com
can i ask you girls...i am having two ceremonies...one for my family (jewish) at the reception site. we are not religious at all..but i want it to be performed by a reformed cantor and i wanted to include some of the jewish traditions. however, i dont feel that my FH would be comfortable, nor would i want to ask that any of my guests wear yarmulkes at the ceremony...is that ok??
I think its up to you. As long as you're not getting married in a temple, than I don't think its a requirement. You could have some there so if people want to wear them they can but I don't think its ever required if you're not in a temple.
I would definitely ask the rabbi if it matters that you don't have yarmulkes, but I don't think you HAVE to have them if it's not in a temple.
