Where did you order from and how was the service? Would you recommend?
Just in my own exploring, I have found 2 sites - yarmulkes.com and yarmulke.com (no 's'). Anyone order from these?
Thanks!

Re: Jewish Brides - Yarmulkes
hey- I got mine from yarmulke.com and I was pleased with the service.. they are nice and had the best price. I found them to be a little big when we got them- but the guys will be wearing them for like 20 mins..

Re: Jewish Brides - Yarmulkes
My mother crocheted all of the yarmulkes for the bridal party at my sisters wedding. The others were provided by the caterer/temple. They end up in the back of someone's car or in a breakfront to be used at Pesach. I don't think I will be spending excessively on this. Though now that I think about it, I am looking forward to wearing a lovely little doily thingy (name for this please???) after I get married. I was always envious of the ladies who did.

Re: Jewish Brides - Yarmulkes
any judaica store, i would think. if you go to order a fancy ketubah, you could take care of the yarmulka order at the same time.
ours are being provided by the caterer...we can upgrade to something different if we want but we like the ones provided.

We got ours from J Lowey - they have a website - it might be jlowey.com. They were great, inexpensive and had them within 3 weeks to us.

I tend to call the little doily thing a 'shamta' I don't know if there is a real term for it, other than 'lace head covering'! I love wearing mine!

I assume you mean 'schmata'. Every once in a while my mother tries to give me a crash course in yiddish but I never listen.

Try to figure out how many men will actually be attending. Also do not assume that ALL of the men will wear a yarmulke though most do out of respect. Now that I think about it, I would order the amount that is closest to the amount of men you are going to have - just in case.
