Is The Book of Ruth a Catholic or Jewish scripture?? I have a reading from the book of Ruth that I LOVE, but someone told me it's Jewish? Help!! (Can you tell I really don't pay much attention in church???)

Its in the Old Testament which means it both. We're sticking to Old testament readings since it is studied in both religions.

I don't see why not. Im protestant, but we still study the Old Testament. it IS part of the Bible, so there SHOULDN'T be a problem with it.
