Well it's not near great neck. But Gennaro's Jewler in Bellomore does amazing work. I ahd to ahve my ring fixed and I went to them. Your ring never leaves our sight. You are there w/ them the entire time they are working on your jewlery. You can leave if you want but I did not want my diamond leaving my sight so they give you option.
Not near your area, but I love Berne's jewlers in Merrick on Merrick Road..... my ring was too big and the day after we got engaged they put the prongs on for free! Nice people and great service!
I have not use them byt according to Eliana (Enjft) Elsa'a ( LiW vendor) does great work.
